hatha 1 & 2
Our gentle and restorative class. Each class will begin with simple breathing exercises to calm and center the mind. This will be followed by yoga postures that focus on releasing each joint in the body. The class will end with a long, guided relaxation. Hatha 1 is geared towards beginners while Hatha 2 is an intermediate level class.
hot flow
Yoga postures are linked together with a breath sequence to produce internal heat that detoxifies the body. Performing this Vinyasa technique in a room heated to between 37 to 40 degrees celsius amplifies the intensity of this class.
power 1 & 2
This class draws heavily from the Ashtanga yoga tradition starting with an energizing series of postures called sun salutations to warm-up and then progressing on to standing and balancing postures, forward bends, twists and backbends. Power 1 is ideal for beginners. It is ideal that Power 2 students have attended some Power 1 classes.
